멀고도 가까운 나라 일본에서도 TKT는 잘 나가고 있습니다!

일본이 2020년 도쿄 올림픽을 대비해서 일본 학생들의 영어 실력 향상을 위해 많은 계획을 세우고 있다고 합니다.

그래서 영어교사들을 특별히 140명을 선발해서 해외 연수 프로젝트를 진행하는데 선생님들 선발할 때 선발 기준으로 TKT를 채택했다고 합니다. 

TKT가 영어교사의 교수능력을 평가하는 국제적인 기준으로 사용되고 있다는 생생한 소식이어서 공유합니다!

Cambridge English in the starting blocks for Tokyo Olympic Games

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education is using the Teaching Knowledge Test to evaluate the skills of 140 specially selected teachers who will go on to train in the US and Australia. The overseas teacher training project will also contribute towards the Metropolitan Government's goal of raising students' English language proficiency ahead of the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020. The teachers will travel to the University of California, Irvine, and to the University of New South Wales, for three-month training courses between September 2014 and March 2015
